Vividry

One of my on-going projects is Vividry. We’ve been working on it for some time now in between other (paid) projects. I’ve spoken about the logo design before, and now we’ve given folks a sneak peek at the system itself. The process has been interesting since we already have the Expressions community to garner feedback from. From the very beginning we have asked for direct input, even during the naming process, and it’s been a fantastic opportunity to hear directly from members from the get-go. It’s helped us to really create something wonderful (I think anyway).

It’s great to see the interface come together finally. It is extremely user-friendly which was the main goal, and easy on the eyes. I still have a few tweaks to make, but all-in-all, it’s there. Now to just get the other million and 1 things complete ;)

I stumbled here. I was trying to update my photoblog and read your help pages and found a link there and then another and another and here I am. lol

anyway. it looks fantastic and simple. Simple is important to me.. hense my visit to the expressions help pages. Is this something that will be available to everyone?

Yes, this will most definitely be available to everyone. As an Expressions member, you’ll be one of the first to have the option to move your Expressions account over to Vividry (all your posts, comments etc.). We have worked hard to make it as easy-to-use and intuitive as possible, so I hope you’ll like it when it’s all ready.

Wow. I’ve been hearing about Vividry for quite a while now and am very much looking forward to it!

It looks great. Any idea on when it’s going to be “open to the public”? Being an expressions member I’m delighted that we can move over our accounts, however…I’m guessing we’re going to have to remake our templates?

Hiya Constantin,

Yeah, Vividry has been in the making for some time now. Unfortunately work has meant we have had to stop development on it for a while, then restart. It’s long overdue!

I have no set dates yet, but we want it out sooner than later. I wish I had specifics for you, but as soon as I do, I’ll let you know more.

Yes, you will need to remake your template to some degree. A lot of it can move over, but the tags will need to be updated. We’ll also be offering a lot of pre-designed templates which you may like.
