London Photobloggers

Back in 2005 I launched the London chapter of photobloggers.org - London Photobloggers. I used a system that had been suggested which worked ok, but wasn’t great by any means. It did the trick though and once the site was up I didn’t have much time to redo anything. Recently though, the site started to irk me. It wasn’t clean and well organised. It lacked style. So, it was high time the site had a little “make over”.

I moved it over to WordPress, introduced some fun plugins, tweaked the design, and voila -  a shiny new LondonPhotobloggers.org. The new revitalised site is lacking content right now, but we have a great group of volunteer contributors who will be posting articles soon. If you are in the UK area and even remotely interesting in photoblogging and/or photography, check it out.

Whew. It’s been a busy week already, and it’s only Tuesday ;)

Love this design Lorissa. Very crisp and nice use of the Flickr plugin.

Thanks Mark! I must give full credit to Derek Powazek for introducing me to the Flickr plugin. Such a nifty little thing.
