So, All Things Girl has been a labour of love since about 2001 (admittedly, sometimes it’s more labour than love). It has gone through various stages, redesigns and revamps, but this latest issue has to be our best ever! I’m really quite chuffed with it. We have so many wonderful submissions from some really talented women. I’m amazed sometimes at how it has grown. I remember the first issue way back in 2001 had all of 5 submissions and I thought that was impressive. The redesign is not only aesthetic, but we have moved over to WordPress as well to make our lives that much easier. With a team of editors, and a slew of submissions for every issue, anything we can do to make the process easier is a good thing. I’ll be sharing some great plugins soon - as soon as I can get a moment to really sit down and write a proper post. I did want to share the redesign though. We’ve been hard at work to get it ready for launch November 1 - a few 5ams were seen through glazed eyes last week. Anyway, it’s a great issue and I hope all our readers will enjoy it, and of course enjoy the brand new look (my personal fave section is Everything Girl. I love the large images).
